How to setup Node?
I've been reading all the doc and wiki but cannot find how to create a node from the HTTPS appliance page. So I'm using the VM app 4.0 upgraded, and I opened the https://192.168.x.x:8003 page. I don't see anything slightly to do with setting up a Node. Any pointers?
Re: How to setup Node?
Hi,
Sorry for the delay - am a bit unconnected ATM settling into Namibia!
I think you need to access the FreeNATS interface not the VM interface. The VM control is on that port - try just http://YOUR.NATS.IP/ you should be able to login to the FreeNATS interface and just select to add a new node.
Let me know how you get on.
Regards,
Dave.

Re: How to setup Node?
Thanks for your reply. I needed that extra guidance. As I was turning on the vm I just noticed the address you mentioned of at the very beginning. The note was pushed up that after changing the pw so I blatantly missed it. I do have another simple question: What's the user/pw for that page? I've tried admin/freenats, no go.

Hi there,
No problem. The FreeNATS default is user admin password admin if that is what you're after.
Yeah the text in the console can scroll away. You might like to have a look at http://www.purplepixie.org/freenats/wik ... _Appliance.
Kind Regards,
Dave.
