Excellent - glad you like it.
Some day I'll do a proper "install wizard" type of thing to specifically ask all those questions up front. Some day.
Cheers,
Dave.

Re: Email Setup
Great - I'm glad to hear it's working. Even gladder to hear it doesn't seem to have been some horrific bug or problem of my making (which is a change!). I have no idea why the rPath update process would delete php. It's very odd. I'll have to keep an eye on it and keep testing here. Just checking bu...

Re: Email Setup
Email Setup If you are using an internal mail server is it valid for MX lookups from an internal DNS server? By default sendmail will queue the message and try and deliver it by looking up the mail servers (MX records) for the domain and then delivering it directly to them via SMTP. If you're using...

Re: Email Setup
Ok I think this is two different problems - one slightly more serious than the other Email Problem I can't tell from the error which email server it is rejecting the email for relaying: yours, some ISP or the actual FreeNATS sendmail process itself. Can you post one of the messages in full (with wha...

Re: Email Setup
hi there, rpath and bats alerts use a different method of delivery. Have you set a mail relay (outgoing mail server) for rpath? With regard to the other error- what version of FreeNATS are you running please? And do you know what you upgraded from for the error to start. I'll have a proper look when...

Well that is good news. Not that I doubted it for a second you understand...
Now I just have to support it in the import tool and all will be well.
Magic quotes are the bane of my life!!

Re: Nodeside PUSH
Ignore the last post... I think I've found the problem. I think that magic quotes is on for your environment and that seems to break the XML parser (which is surprising). Anyway I have just bundled up 1.00.10a which has a if (get_magic_quotes_gpc()) stripslashes() bit in the nodeside import which ho...

Re: Nodeside PUSH
Update: Ignore this post - I think I have found the problem - see below. If it's not the problem then try this... Arr... Me thinks me spoke too soon and too foolishly. I took your XML (which looks fine). It wouldn't parse in anything but only because phpBB had put some spaces in front of every line...

Re: Nodeside PUSH
Hi Aday, I'll have a look at the XML tonight but for the moment, with the Win32 box, once you have successfully pushed data if you "Edit Node" then you should see at the bottom: Add test (the original tests) Add nodeside monitor - this should be a list of monitors from the Win32 box you can select a...
