Tester failed after upgrade from 0.x to 1.x
Hi Dave. After upgrading from 0.x to 1.x, I noted that test-threaded.php failed with the following errors: ./test-threaded.php: line 1: ?php: No such file or directory ./test-threaded.php: line 2: syntax error near unexpected token `"include.php"' ./test-threaded.php: line 2: `require("include.php")...

Re: Exclusions are firing an alert
Update - I have an exclusion for 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. All tests stopped running at 2:00 a.m. and no alerts fired. At 6:00 all tests resumed and one blank alert fired for each server.

Re: Exclusions are firing an alert
Oops, spoke too soon. When I deleted my test exclusion (15:00 - 15:15) a blank alert fired for every server.

Re: Exclusions are firing an alert
Hi Dave. OK, 0.04.29a fixed the message firing issue during exclusions. However, now the tests are no longer re-enabled at the end of an exclusion. For example, I set an exclusion for 15:00 until 15:15. Tests stopped running at 15:00 but did not begin again at 15:15. Also, If I do a "test" of the ex...

Exclusions are firing an alert
Hi Dave. Due to some of my servers generating false positives I set an exclusion in my test schedule from 2:00 am until 6:00 am. At 2:00 am my 0.04x installation fired a blank alert for every server and then another for every server at 6:00 a.m.! I assumed these were "I have stopped monitoring" and ...

Re: Feature requests
Thanks, Dave! These are just wish-list items, so take your time. I vote for UDP (simple port test like TCP/IP) at the top of the list.

Feature requests
Hi Dave. This thread may become a little disjointed, but here are a few things that would be cool: 1. Global configuration options. For example, I realized I had accidentally set "At All Times" for the test schedule on numerous nodes and I had to change them all individually. 2. Global overview of n...

Re: FreeNATS - the best!
Hi Dave. I test only about 12 servers, so I think load is most likely not an issue. So for example on an http test if I set Custom Attempts to 2 and Custom Timeout to 30, what would that look like? Also, I have one additional server I would like to monitor that accepts only UDP connections. Could yo...

Re: FreeNATS - the best!
Dave, I decided to give 1.x a try (a new install rather than an upgrade). It's working beautifully. SMTP auth works fine and node-side push works great as well. I did clarify one point of confusion on the wiki when configuring a node-side script, but otherwise a smooth install! Actually I think I ma...

Re: FreeNATS - the best!
Actually, I was quite looking forward to the node agents (in push mode; I have no desire whatsoever to install Apache on a bunch of clients). Is here any other reason not to upgrade to 1.0 from 0.04? BTW - if you're taking votes on new features, at the top of my list would be authenticated SMTP. My ...
