Re: Problem NS Record with PHP DNS API
Hi, Your engish is a million times better than my french so please don't worry! The lack of an answer from the root servers is correct. The root servers will rarely ever actually hold the NS records for a domain, they will point you to the relevant authority for that TLD and you will then need to lo...

Re: Help with Bullk Import
Hi there, Ok I have identified the fault ( Bug 263 ). I will put out a fix for this in the next alpha (and post here). In the meantime you can fix it if you wish as follows: Login as root to the console Type: nano /opt/freenats/server/bin/import.php In the editor go Control + - then enter the line n...

Re: newb question -
Hi,
Sorry for the delay in responding as I've been away.
Glad you've got it resolved but I do think there may be a way in the interface already - I'll try and find some time to take a look (certainly if not then it's a good idea to implement one).
Will post here what I find.
Regards,
Dave.

Re: Serverside tests fail
Hi,
When the computers can cope with our typos it's only a matter of time before Skynet wipes us all out.
Glad it's working for you now and you're finding the system useful.
Regards,
Dave.

Re: Serverside tests fail
Hi, Sorry to hear you're having problems and that your VM got deleted! Ok it's either the cron job not running or some problem with the script (obviously). I suggest you try the following: - Run the script yourself in cron.minute as root and see if it runs - Check your syslog/messages and see if the...

Re: Help with source install
Hi there, The job is run as root by cron automatically if you have the standard crontab setting e.g. * * * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.minute What I'd suggest you do is this - edit your /etc/cron.minute/freenats-tester and change the /dev/null bit of the pipe to be /tmp/freenats-run You should then...

Re: Help with source install
Hi, Your problem running the script here is caused by permissions - the test must run as a user with access to low-level sockets. Usually this basically means as root. If you execute the tester as root either through sudo, su or just logging in as root it should work ok. As for your cron; check the ...

Re: VM in VirtualBox
Hi, Ok I've now had a chance to stick Virtual Box on a PC and have a play. As you found the networking adapter on 4b doesn't detect or work. I did have a quick look at this but not too deeply as the rPath LAMP is not very featured with auto-config or setup stuff (it's just designed to use the standa...
